DJ Spotlight: Kel Neil

Hometown, year, and major?
I am from St.Louis. I am a Senior in Kinesiology.

Why did you join KSDB?
I joined KSDB to give a voice for the multicultural students on campus and raise awareness for the station and how they can be involved in radio.

What have you learned so far from working at KSDB?
I have learned many things since joining the KSDB team. I believe most importantly I have had the ability to work with people I may have never met and connecting with different groups of students.

What is your favorite part about working at KSDB?
My favorite part of working at KSDB is getting in the station and coming into my own zone with DJ B Lindsey. The idea to start Thirsty Thursday Radio and to attract people to the show was a blessing and I appreciate the experience thus far.

What are some albums/artists you’ve been listening to lately?
I have been listening to a lot of Future, Drake, Frisco Fly and Miistro Freeyo.

What is your favorite movie of all time?
My favorite movie of all time would have to be “The Wood” with Tay Diggs, Omar Epps, and Richard T. Jones. It’s a classic!
